But nowhere is this more important than in our compliance with all of the applicable laws and regulations. Pharmacy benefit management is highly regulated, as it should be. The regulations change frequently, and we want our employees to be fully aware of the latest requirements.
This is serious business. But at Abarca, we think learning is fun.
Last month, we held Compliance & Ethics Week — an immersive training event that allowed Abarcans to complete their compliance requirements while engaging with their teammates. The week kicked off with a special “Like Family” coffee break that featured educational games, prizes, and presentations from our compliance team.
