1. The Gardens of the Puerto Rico Museum of Art in Santurce

The Botanical Sculpture Garden at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico is a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city. 2. Plaza Blanche Kellogg

Plaza Blanche Kellogg is a historic and cultural gem that is renowned today for its stunning mosaics. Named after Blanche Kellogg, sister of W.K. Kellogg, the creator of the famous corn flake cereal company, the plaza is framed by the Ciudadela condominiums and commercial center. The original buildings, constructed between 1904 and 1907 in the Mission-revival style, are listed in the National Registry of Historic Buildings.

While only the facades of these buildings remain, they provide a beautiful backdrop to the plaza’s centerpiece: twelve magnificent mosaic panels by Santurce artist Eddie Ferraioli. These vibrant mosaics add a splash of color and artistic flair to the plaza, drawing visitors to admire their intricate designs.

3. Plaza Juan Morel Campos

Built by Circuito Llamas, one of the island’s first cinema chains, the theater was known for showcasing Mexican, Argentine, and Spanish films and hosting appearances by film stars and singers.

After closing in the 1970s, the theater was recently reopened as a performing arts venue. Located just steps from the Luis A.
