Last week, our team joined leaders from across healthcare at the AMCP 2021 virtual conference.
This year, the event focused on the future of managed care pharmacy in the rapidly changing healthcare landscape. In particular, the sessions examined topics ranging from rising drug costs to emerging therapies and innovations in drug contracting.
The event was also an opportunity for Abarca to meet with our clients and others in the industry to discuss our latest initiatives.
We were also selected to give a poster presentation on the multi-channel pharmacy engagement program we designed to improve medication access and adherence for a large Medicare plan. This strategy included several large-scale initiatives, including the relaunch of the RxTarget pharmacy incentive program, ongoing collaboration with our client, and the launch of Puerto Rico’s first home delivery pharmacy program.
The result? Increased adherence and a high level of pharmacy satisfaction, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Read the full case study.
