From Stage to Circle—Why We Created Oasis Mixer
At Abarca Health, we’ve seen that the best ideas don’t just come from strategy decks—they emerge when people meet, listen, and build something new together.
After two successful seasons of Oasis Connections—a platform where leaders discussed innovation, leadership, and culture—we wanted to take that energy off the stage and into the room. That’s why we created the Oasis Mixer: an intimate, interactive experience designed to foster real dialogue, strengthen community, and spark collaboration beyond the panel.
Who We Brought Together
A Cross-Sector, High-Impact Guest List
The inaugural Oasis Mixer welcomed professionals from over 20 mission-driven organizations, including:
- Popular, Red Ventures, MMM, Triple-S, Xtillion, Maxar, Nave Bank, and nBeta
- Rising startups like BrainHi and Flexio
- Creative and civic organizations such as Álvarez-Díaz & Villalón, Platea, Foundation for Puerto Rico, Design Dinners, and Santurce Tech
- Alumni from Ironhack and Endeavor Puerto Rico
This wasn’t about hierarchy—it was about shared values. We brought together professionals in product design, engineering, entrepreneurship, public policy, and nonprofit leadership—from interns to founders, analysts to executives.

Set at our Oasis Santurce campus, the atmosphere was relaxed, inclusive, and full of spontaneous connection.
