Abarca welcomes new Vice Presidents of Product and Sales

We are thrilled to introduce two new members of the Abarca family.

Paul Chan has joined as Abarca’s Vice President, Product. A 14-year veteran of the PBM industry, Paul has a proven track record of innovation, and brings a hands-on approach to leadership and a passion for data-driven decision making. Paul will play a key role in creating and overseeing the vision for Abarca’s entire suite of products and collaborate with clients and partners to address industry trends and challenges, among other responsibilities.

Jesse Ruzicka, a seasoned PBM and managed care industry executive, will serve as Abarca’s Vice President, Sales. With 17 years of experience ranging from innovative startups to Fortune 20 companies, Jesse brings a rich history of sales, account management, and growth strategy development. In his role, Jesse will lead and support the organization through all facets of the sales journey, including brand and product awareness, consulting and health plan relationship building, and onboarding new clients.

Both Paul and Jesse have made an immediate impact since joining our team this Spring, and we’re looking forward to continuing to leverage their unique skills to deliver a better way for our clients, partners, and members.
